There's nothing like the convenience of online shopping. That is, of course, until you have to wait for the package to arrive. Once it finally gets on the delivery truck, there's nothing more annoying than having to track and wait for your package, only to miss its scheduled delivery time. Fortunately, Volvo has partnered with a Swedish startup to provide an alternative to the mundane delivery process.

“We understand the value of the In-car Delivery service we have developed. We’ve all had phone calls at work from delivery people trying to deliver packages to our homes that need to be signed for when there is no one home. With our In-car Delivery service we effectively turn your car into a delivery location and assign a one-time digital key to the delivery person, effectively eliminating delivery failure,” said Björn Annwall, Senior Vice President Marketing Sales and Service at Volvo Car Group in a press release.

In short, Volvo customers can place an order which the team at urb-it will receive. Once it's received that said team member will pick it up at the store and deliver it safely to the trunk of your Volvo. If this isn't all performed in under two hours, the service is free. While it's currently only available to Stockholm, Sweden customers -- it will expand globally in the coming years.
