Volvo Recharge is the name of Volvo’s line of hybrid and all-electric vehicles. Recharge models run the gamut from cars to SUVs, and there are eight models total. Volvo is continually adding to their roster of Recharge models, but for now, let’s take a look at what’s available at our Minneapolis dealership.
What Models are Available?
Volvo C40 Recharge: The Volvo C40 Recharge or C40 Pure Electric is a fully electric vehicle that aims to bring both tailpipe emissions-free power and coupe-like styling to the compact luxury crossover SUV class.
Volvo XC40 Recharge: The Volvo XC40 Recharge is an eco-friendly SUV with some serious speed. With two electric motors, one driving the front wheels and the second powering the rears, this model has full-time all-wheel drive and 402 horsepower.
Volvo XC60 Recharge: As a plug-in hybrid, the XC60 Recharge uses a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder to produce 455 total horsepower and get an estimated range of 63 MPGe.
Volvo S60 Recharge: As a hybrid sedan, the S50 Recharge powers through the competition with a combined 455 horsepower, 41 miles of electric range, and a combined fuel economy of around 73 MPGe.
Volvo V60 Recharge: Meet Volvo’s plug-in hybrid wagon. This model offers one pedal drive and all-wheel drive. This allows the V60 Recharge to perform with agility while delivering relaxed control and a smooth, powerful drive.
Volvo XC90 Recharge: A three-row SUV with a rechargeable battery - what could be better. With a four-cylinder engine and electric motor to generate 455 horsepower and an electric range of 35 miles, this is one of the best family rides you can buy.
Volvo S90 Recharge: Go “green” with this luxury sedan. This plug-in hybrid has all the bells and whistles you could want from a luxury coupe with a 455 horsepower engine that offers 38 miles of electric range and a fuel economy of around 66 MPGe.
Volvo V90 Recharge: The V90 Recharge is the most basic plug-in hybrid that Volvo offers. That said, it does offer a sharp design, a wonderfully finished interior, great infotainment and technology, a variety of driver-assistance features, and a powerful hybrid powertrain.
