Since its beginning in 1927, safety has been the defining Volvo core value. In normal times, we focus on our customers in their cars, their fellow passengers and pedestrians as well as animals impacted by traffic.
Sadly, these are not normal times. It is unclear how long we will all be faced with the societal fallout of the COVID-19 pandemic, so we are now taking extraordinary measures to also protect the personal safety and health of our valued Borton customers, team members and vendors at our dealership.
We are using specialty products to clean all touch-points in your Volvo as well as our loaners, demonstrators and pre-owned vehicles, paying particular and ongoing attention to high-touch surfaces like steering wheels, handles, gear shifters and switches.
In both our New and Pre-Owned vehicle showrooms, waiting lounges and restrooms, we are following guide-lines from health professionals and sanitize high-touch surfaces like tablets, keyboards, tables and counters with sharply increased frequency. Of course, we practice adequate social spacing diligently. (You will understand why we refrain from shaking hands.)
Unless instructed otherwise by State or Federal Authorities, Borton Volvo Cars will continue to be open for sales, service and parts. We welcome you to visit us and explore our vehicles in a safe and caring environment. However, we are also happy to provide virtual vehicle walk-arounds via Facetime or Skype at your convenience and can also arrange to bring a vehicle to your home or office.
If you have concerns about coming to our spacious new facilities, we will happily find a way to accommodate you at your convenience. We are also working to provide valet pick-up and drop-off for vulnerable customers who do not wish to leave their homes.
